Assistant Professor, Department of Community Sustainability (CSUS) College of Agriculture and Natural Resources

As part of a collaboration between the Hub and CSUS, resources are being developed to support the implementation of four 360-degree virtual reality (VR) videos within an agriculture, food, and natural resources (AFNR) education seminar. VR was selected because (a) it allows the faculty member, to tailor observations to the needs of students and (b) it reduces student costs associated with traveling to observation sites. The resources being developed to support this innovation are podcasts orienting students to the four “cross-cutting concepts” featured in the VR videos as well as a reflection and assessment guide.
