Topological data analysis, or TDA for short, is a rapidly growing field of research at the intersection of pure mathematics, computer science, statistics and data science. The goal of this project is to develop an online platform for teaching and active learning in TDA. Specifically, the project will design and deploy the first modules of an online course in topological data analysis, with the goal of making the subject accessible to non-experts and broaden the impact of these tools in other disciplines. The course will introduce the mathematical foundations of the field, as well as hands-on modules demonstrating their applicability.
