Michelle Ratchford is a Student Innovation Designer for the MSU Hub for Innovation in Learning and Technology. She is double majoring in Global Studies in the Arts and Humanities and Chinese with minors in Bioethics, Religious Studies, and Arabic. Michelle is passionate about service and nonprofit work and she places importance on deconstructing traditional binaries that impact most aspects of life and reconstructing them in a fluid, inclusive, and fresh ways. She hopes to be able to embody these ideals in her work at the MSU Hub by finding ways to support students in all of their academic, cultural, social, and future pursuits.
Michelle not only excels in, but also enjoys interpersonal community building, studying and learning languages, event and program design, promotion, and facilitation. In her spare time, you can find Michelle reading, writing, singing, cooking, and spending time with friends.
Michelle is excited to engage with new methods of design techniques that she will be able to utilize in her future endeavors, enriching the experiences and the experiences of others.
