Become Part of the MSU Teaching and Learning Community with Dec. 1st #iteachmsu Chat

Join us at the Hub on December 1st for a Twitter Chat, facilitated by Inside Teaching MSU

Want to be part of a community dedicated to promoting teaching and learning innovation and student success across MSU?

Join us on December 1st for the launch of Inside Teaching MSU’s first twitter chat! We will be discussing how we can and do build teaching and learning communities across MSU. We hope this chat marks the beginning of a regular dialogue bringing together MSU teaching assistants (TAs), faculty, undergraduate learning assistants (ULAs), staff, and students to discuss a variety of teaching and learning topics.

If you’re planning to come by the Hub to participate, please RSVP.

What is a Twitter chat? A Twitter Chat:

  • Happens on a scheduled day and time
  • Is anchored in a specific topic or theme
  • Is facilitated by specific groups or individuals who pose questions to participants
  • Can be followed and participated in through a set #hashtag (in this case, “#iteachmsu”)

There will be a short orientation from 3:30-4 pm before the chat begins, a debriefing from 5-5:30 pm after it ends, and people on hand across the experience to support you. If you can’t make it in person, join us digitally at 4 pm by searching for “#iteachmsu” on Twitter.
