This project will explore strategies to reinvigorate the structure, instructional methods, and overall aesthetic of these courses. The goal is to improve learning outcomes and the quality of online instruction through the integration of innovative and effective pedagogies and instructional design. In addition, this project will seek to identify standards for course development, design, and delivery, to inform MPH program procedures. Using what is learned throughout work with the Hub, this project will guide the development and revitalization of the full curriculum and the implementation of program-wide standards. HM 101 and 801 will serve as exemplar courses for faculty to draw from, and standards identified will be applied across the curriculum to improve overall program quality.
