Students: do you want to help identify new ways to collaborate, learn, research, and deliver instruction at MSU?
Student Design Challenge
Friday, February 5, 2016
2:00 – 4:00 pm
The Hive, Wilson Hall
MSU’s Hub for Innovation in Learning and Technology was created to help advance Michigan State University by realizing a more active, engaged, successful, and valuable student experience. Involving students as key stakeholders in the Hub’s projects is essential, and we invite you to collaborate with us at our inaugural public design challenge!
Over the course of 2 hours, groups of students will be led through a series of design thinking activities by Design for America, to generate a set of projects/ideas that will be presented to the Hub. The Hub will review the projects/ideas identified with key stakeholders at MSU and potentially turn one or more of them into a longer term challenge or initiative at MSU.
Students interested in participating should contact Teal Amthor-Shaffer, Director of Engagement, MSU Hub for Innovation in Learning and Technology at amthorsh at msu dot edu
This event will take place at The Hive, which is located on MSU’s campus in Wilson Hall, which is on Wilson Road between Chestnut and Birch. The Hive is a 3,800 s.f. dynamic “idea laboratory.”
